History

Did you know that the BB-DanceCamp, or the "Pfingstseminar" as it was called until 2012, was one of the first international swing camps in Europe? Many of today's famous teachers of the swing scene had their first workshops in Landsberg with all-stars like Frank Manning and others. Find out more about the history of the camp here.

Frankie Award

The Frankie Award has been presented at the BB-DanceCamp since 1994. It honours people who have rendered outstanding services to dance and music from swing to the rock'n'roll of the 1950s. Frank Manning is the namesake of the award due to his extraordinary and long-standing commitment in this field, and was also its first recipient.

Code of Conduct

The BB-DanceCamp shall be a positive and safe space for all participants, where fun and enjoyment of the swing dances are in the foreground. We consider respectful and responsible behaviour towards each other to be a matter of course. These rules of conduct are important to us.
